Smashy Road: Wanted

Smashy Road: Wanted is the sequel to Smashy Road, but with entirely different gameplay. While for gameplay elements, the visual design, the title, progress and monetization it still borrows from Crossy Road, most of the gameplay is now based on an element of the Grand Theft Auto series.

The player drives a car from an isometric-like camera view in a large, open world environment. The car accelerates by itself and the player only needs to turn the car by tapping the left or the right side of the screen. Turns also make the car slow down. The goal is to survive as long as possible, dodging obstacles, cars and buildings while being chased by the police. Quickly after starting, the car receives a wanted rating of one star and is chased by police cars who attempt to block the car. When stuck, 'Busted' or 'Wasted' appears on the screen similar to GTA games and the run is over. The longer the car survives, the higher the wanted rating becomes, reaching up to five stars. With each new wanted level more cars start to chase, including armoured vehicles and jeeps. The police also uses a helicopter and sets up roadblocks. It is possible to smash into cars, also the police, blowing them up. The game is only over when the player's car is stuck and no longer moves.

Along the way cash can be collected to spend at a slot machine where 60 types of cars can be unlocked based on different rarity levels. The game is free-to-play and optionally cars can be bought directly using in-app purchases. Optionally in-game advertisements can be watched to earn more cash.
