Sifu

Sifu is an action-adventure game. Players assume the role of a young martial artist who sets on a quest for revenge after a mysterious gang, led by Yang, murders their sensei.

The gameplay emphasises hand-to-hand combat, offering a variety of martial arts techniques and the ability to unlock new skills. A notable feature of Sifu is its aging mechanic: whenever the player character dies, they respawn at an older age. The older the character gets, the more damage they deal to enemies at the cost of decreased health bar.

Sifu takes inspiration from kung-fu movies, particularly those starring Jackie Chan, while the combat itself is based on the Bak Mei style of Chinese martial arts.
