Siegius

In Siegius the Roman empire is at war with Gaulish tribes. Play as the emperor Caesar or the great chief Vercing to conquer your opposition and claim the land. Each level on the battlefield requires the player to strategically place different types of soldiers that can counter certain enemies (such as Roman Defenders against Gaul Archers) with the limited gold in stock. A battle is won, once the player captures the enemy fort. Sometimes the player must gather resources to replenish gold before soldiers can be hired.
