Shin Taketori Monogatari

Shin Taketori Monogatari is a text adventure with graphics based on the Tale of the Bamboo Cutter, reimagined as a modern gag parody where you'll be meeting some characters in need of your help. You get to select the gender of the main character: male or female. Then, you start off with the game giving you a whip and candle to explore through two paths. There are three difficulty levels and multiple endings depending on your score. The game offers 3 input methods: Katakana, Romaji and English. Commands are accepted in Verb+Noun format (GO CAVE, for example).
