Shadows: Heretic Kingdoms

Shadows: Heretic Kingdoms is an action RPG and the sequel to Heretic Kingdoms: The Inquisition. Twenty years have passed since the events of the first game.

Four out of five members of the secret Penta Nera order have been murdered. The souls of the four have been consumed by Devourers. A type of demon that enslaves the soul he has consumes making it his puppet. They now roam the mortal world in search for the essence of souls. The fifth surviving order member, wanting to take revenge for his dead brothers, has now summoned a special Devourer that is capable of consuming multiple souls. It is up to you to either save the world or doom it.

You take on the role of this devourer that can switch between the different creatures whose souls he has consumed (fifteen total). The game offers two worlds to switch between, the shadow and the normal world. You battle various fantasy creatures with spells and melee attacks as you try to complete quests.
