About

Shadowkeep is a role-playing game with commands given through a text parser. The setting is a huge castle named Shadowkeep which used to be the home of the good wizard Nacomedon. But now, he has been encased in crystal by the evil Dal'brad and demons infest the castle and plague the land. You are Practer Fime, an apprentice blacksmith eager for adventure, who is summoned by the cloaked and ghostly Spinner. You must find the key to the ancient spell, conquer the castle and free the land. You gather up to nine characters to accompany you into the uncharted mazes, traps and demons awaiting you.

For each team member, race and gender (males are stronger but females have better dexterity) are chosen as well as one of five professions: warrior, monk, runemage, shadowmage or necromancer. Each character will possess different attributes but you can also assign extra value to any of six areas: strength, intelligence, dexterity, power, leadership and hit points. You can also buy magic and goods from a creature named Raddath. You issue text commands for movement and actions to take for each member.
