Sega Ages 2500: Vol.3 - Fantasy Zone

A re-issue of the classic psychedelic shooter Fantasy Zone, in which you take control of a cutesy ship and try to destroy the hordes of equally cute enemies and clear the primary-colored stages that make up the game world.

Unlike other AGES 2500 releases Fantasy Zone maintains the look and feel of the original 2D graphics with the use of cell-shaded 3D graphics. Several game modes are available, including the original and an arrange version which includes animated cutscenes, as well as 3rd-person bonus stages after key boss fights. A Challenge Mode lets players choose an individual level and lets the player keep any money they earn to buy unique items like the 14-Way Shot. which can usually be carried over to the original mode. Purchasable are also 4 original levels (Dawndusk, Apochal, Cavian and Depooble).
