About

The Arcade of Section Z differs from the NES version.

While the arcade game is a linear scrolling-shooter, the NES version is more open ended, where each section ends with the player deciding where to go next, and some sections are locked. These sections are unlocked by defeating mini bosses that don't appear in the arcade game. The section maps are also different with the Arcade version featuring exclusive vertical scrolling parts. Other differences include the Arcade version having one hit kills (NES version uses an energy meter) and nearly all of the enemies are different, including the bosses.
