Seabeard is a casual adventure game with light role-playing, social and community management elements. The game also features number of action and reaction-based mini-games.

There are some similarities to the Animal Crossing series in visuals, sound and some parts of gameplay elements.

The game uses a freemium model, which means player must wait for some actions to be completed, or speed them up with premium currency.
