About

Sea Chase is a 1-player arcade game for the 8-bit Atari.

The player controls a small submarine which can move in all directions, and fires vertically forwards. The player must avoid a number of mines and a ship which moves about above the water dropping depth charges that explode at random depths. The player has limited fuel, which is replenished by collecting bonus items. The player has to gather various items, and after collecting 10, a torpedo appears, which the player can fire at the battleship to complete the level. If the player misses with their single torpedo, they must restart the level. The battleship can launch an attack submarine, which also moves about firing at the player. The player can shoot and destroy the submarine and the depth charges. The player starts with 5 lives, and it's game over when all are lost. If the bonus score reaches 0, it's game over.
