Saturday Morning RPG

Saturday Morning RPG is an episodic Japanese style role-playing game set in a world inspired by 1980's Saturday morning cartoons and pop culture. In the game, players take control of Martin "Marty" Michael Hall, an average high school student with an above average power, as he fights the evil forces of Commander Hood. The game takes place throughout several self contained episodes wherein the player battles enemies, powers up Marty, and collects new items. Battles in the game are active turn-based affairs where properly timed button presses can give the player an advantage during enemy or player turns. When not in battle, the player can explore the game world, take on quests, and seek out new items which can be used in battles. Character progress transfers between episodes, and episodes can be played as many times and in any order the player wants.
