Sail Simulator 4 is a sailboat simulation, it is a single player game with a multiplayer option for on-line play,

The game offers the player three sailing areas, a training area, the Isle d'Ouessant (France), and the Vierwaldstatter Sea (Switzerland) together with seven different types of craft, the Soling, Flying Dutchman, Laser, Optimist, Volk, Sailing Cruiser, and the Volvo Ocean Racer.

There is a full range of instrumentation, customisable weather conditions, and a 'style editor' which allows the player to customise any boat's colour scheme to their own personal taste.
