Sacred Seasons

Sacred Seasons is a Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game (MMORPG) that can be played on various websites, including social networks such as Facebook and MySpace. Players can choose from sixteen different player classes to create their avatar with. Avatars can be further customized using preset color schemes. Each class has different looks and skills that can be used.

In the game, players solve quests (killing monsters) to earn experience and loot. The player navigates the game world with the mouse. The player walks through a series of static screens connected with travel signs that bring the player to an adjacent location.

Combat is played out in a typical console RPG fashion. Player and enemies select their actions (attack, escape, use item, use skill) from a menu. Participants have a timer that determines when they can select a new action. Actions are presented with simple animations.

Experience earns the player levels that unlock new skills and improves the avatar's stats. Money can be used to purchase better or prettier equipment and usable items.

Players can buy additional gold with their credit card, PayPal or using their mobile phone.
