About

The evil god Sabnack, sealed by four angels long ago, has awoken and has turned the warriors that were sent against him into stone statues, and has filled the land with monsters. Only the young adventurer Alf, equipped with the magical crimson cloak, can revive the stone statues, rescue the fairies and call back the four angels to defeat Sabnack.

Sabnack is a top-down fantasy action puzzle game with forty stages where you play as Alf. His magic cloak allows him to revive stone statues in the stage when he is directly next to them, which will make them move in formation with him, and enables him to use their skills. When they are moved against an obstacle, they will change position, and if they are not directly next to Alf anymore, they will turn back to stone. Using their skills and positioning, rescue the fairies and bring them to the exit to complete a stage.

The X68000 and PC-98 versions have the same general gameplay, but some differences in graphics and stages.
