Rise of Nightmares

Rise of Nightmares is similar to a traditional survival horror game as it features exploration, combat and even boss battles. The difference is that all the actions are controlled by the player's body with Kinect, instead of with a traditional controller.

The game starts off on a train somewhere in Eastern Europe where you (the character the player plays as) and your wife are vacationing. You and your wife have an argument about your drinking problem in the train car, which pushes her to leave as she is furious. Feeling like you made a mistake, you soon decide to find her on the train, only to see her getting kidnapped in front of your very eyes moments later by some kind of humanoid creature and madman. Your ultimate goal is to save your wife from this madman... but you will encounter things beyond this world throughout your journey.

Some of the motion controls you will have to do include the following:

• opening doors with your hands
• punching and kicking enemies
• throwing scalpels or other weapons
• run
• climb down or up ladders
• swim
• turn your shoulders to control the camera
• put your foot in front of you to walk
