Relic Hunters Zero

Relic Hunters Zero is an arcade shooter, where the player plays as one of the 6 characters available. Each character starts out with a specific gun.

The goal of the game is to collect relics hidden on the asteroid, each of them broken into three pieces. Once three pieces are found the relic will be assembled. To find relics the player must dig on the different levels of the game. However before the player can start digging, the level has to be cleared of various opponents. Opponents are controlled by AI and are turtles and ducks. They are armed with different weapons, which get more powerful with each level. There is also some kind of beast opponent that attacks indiscriminately the player or the other characters on the level. Player characters have a basic shield to protect them that recharges, and a health bar.

Throughout the levels new weapons, ammo, grenades, health packs and shield upgrades can be found. In addition, in between levels the same items can be bought in the store for the ingame currency that is collected through killing enemies in the game.
