Red Faction: Armageddon - Path to War

Path to War is downloadable content (DLC) for Red Faction: Armageddon. It is playable during four single-player missions separate from the main plot. These additional missions may be treated partially as a prequel and they take place as follows:* Hale's Gambit - Approx. 10 hours before Terraformer failure

• Tip of the Spear - Approx. 7 hours before Terraformer failure
• Falling Objects - Approx. 3 hours before Terraformer failure
• Mallus - Approx. 5 days after Plague release

The antagonist of the main game, Adam Hale, seeking ultimate revenge against the Red Faction, plans to destroy the Terraformer, the one thing that keeps the surface of Mars habitable for thousands of colonists. Four new missions feature Mallus, Hale's right hand, and Darius Mason, protagonist of the base game, as well as aerial flyers, orbital strikes, and the Red Faction armored surface tank. Two destructive new weapons, the Sharpshooter Gun and Shard Cannon, will be unlocked, and ten new achievements may be earned.
