R.B.I. Baseball 15

R.B.I. Baseball 15 is a single-player and multiplayer sports / baseball game. The game places the player in control of a Major League Baseball team, offering both quick pick-up-and-play sessions and longer seasons that span an entire 162-game schedule. The objective is to guide a chosen club through regular games, postseason play, and ultimately toward a championship. Every team from Major League Baseball is available, with current rosters and stadiums represented.

Gameplay is based on simplified, arcade-style mechanics. Batting is handled through timing-based swings, with players able to influence direction and power. Pitching uses a limited set of inputs to throw fastballs, curveballs, or off-speed pitches, with location determined by directional controls. Fielding is managed manually, with the player switching between fielders to catch fly balls or stop grounders. The rules follow official baseball standards, with nine-inning games that can be adjusted for length in casual play.

Progression in the game comes through the Season mode, where players manage their team across the full calendar, recording statistics and standings that mirror the real sport. Rosters can be modified, allowing trades or substitutions, and player stats are tracked over time. Exhibition mode provides single games without long-term consequences, while Postseason mode lets players jump directly into playoff brackets.

Secondary features include stat tracking for batting averages, home runs, earned run averages, and other common baseball measures. The game includes adjustable difficulty settings, letting players tailor the challenge from beginner-friendly to more demanding. Local multiplayer allows two players to compete head-to-head, while solo players can face computer-controlled opponents.

R.B.I. Baseball 15 introduced a number of additions and refinements over its predecessors. One of the most visible changes was the inclusion of fully redesigned ballparks for all 30 Major League Baseball teams, each featuring recognizable landmarks such as Fenway Park’s Green Monster, Wrigley Field’s ivy, or the Home Run Apple at Citi Field.
