Radiant Defense

Radiant Defense is a tower defense game in which an alien overlord is sending aliens through a warp towards human outposts. It's up to the player to defend the spiral they are attracted to. Like other tower defense games the player builds towers with various properties such as range of attack and damage. Different towers can have special properties such as slowing down, or doing damage over time. Towers can only be built on black tiles, but limited black tiles can be placed wherever the player wants to create a maze for the aliens to navigate. This allows the player to create longer walking distances or to make choke points where maximum damage can be dealt. In between levels the commander of the humans, the main scientist and the alien overlord hold lighthearted dialogues. With each level the player is rated based on the remaining hitpoints of the spiral. A wide array of different types of aliens make each level require different strategies. The game is free to play and has optional DLC which gives access to a wider array of towers.
