Puzzling Places

Puzzling Places is a 3D jigsaw puzzling VR game made with photogrammetry scans of real places from around the world.

The puzzle feature locations from France, Italy, Japan, USA, etc, and typically focuses on cultural heritage sites (buildings, cities, geographical features, places of worship, etc.) and objects (cars, planes, household things).

The mood of the game is relaxing. Each puzzle has an ambient soundscape, and some puzzles feature regional sound effects which unlock as the puzzle slowly comes together. By the end of the puzzle, the player has built a beautiful little diorama of real place from around the world, with a ton of sounds and music coming from within the puzzle itself.

Puzzling Places includes 16 puzzles (each with 5 difficulty variants) as well as 10+ free puzzles that have been added to the library over time. The game also has an extensive DLC library of puzzles that can either be purchased (as packs with 6 puzzles each) or unlocked via a subscription (Quest only).

The game can be played in cross-play multiplayer (across Quest, PlayStation VR2, and Pico). It also features achievements on Quest and trophies on PlayStation VR2. It also has some extra features for Quest and Pico such as Hand Tracking, Mixed Reality Passthrough, and even local co-op, where if two players play multiplayer in the same room, their headsets' locations synchronize to share the same playspace.
