About

Proun is an abstract racing game where the player controls a ball on a cable. The levels are full of geometrical objects that the player has to avoid by rotating around the cable. The objective is simply to get to the end in as short time as possible. When hitting an obstacle the speed goes down so this should obviously be avoided. At the same time there is a slowdown when rotating. The player can collect boosts by not crashing for twelve seconds. When used these will allow the player to go very fast for two seconds.

Proun has three game modes: Single race, time trial and championship. In single race the player races against computer opponents, while in time trial the player competes directly against his own best times and similarly to Trackmania these are represented as ghosts. In the championship mode the player needs to earn a certain amount of points by racing through all the tracks in order. When winning the championship the player can unlock more difficult championships that are played at higher speeds. The game also feature split screen multiplayer for up to four players on one PC. Leaderboards exist too, both local and online. After a race the player can compare his time with those of others.
