About
In Prison Tycoon the player watches over a prison. The prisoners need to have a nice stay, a possibility to rehabilitate and the workers should not get beat up by them. In typical tycoon style buildings can be constructed. These include factories for the prisoners to work in, cafeterias to eat, TV rooms for spare time and medical stations if someone gets hurt in the rough day to day life in a prison.
Buildings can be constructed on the prison site and they are equipped with prefabricated rooms, as long as it fits the budget. Money can be earned by having the prisoners work in factories. Reputation is also important as income is also dependent on the public money from the state. In higher levels the player has to take care of felons and keep law and order. The formation of gangs need to be prevented, personnel needs to be treated well and the prison can eventually be turned into a well-known a highly secure facility with decent services for the prisoners.
