Polis 3: Vargspår (Police 3: Wolf tracks) is the third game in the Polis series.

You take the role as a lead investigator of the Swedish Crime Scene Investigators. You and your four police officers are tasked with solving a big murder case. By examining suspicious objects and crime scenes, interrogate and track suspects the plot thickens in this very intricate murder mystery. But your resources are limited. To solve the puzzle you cannot waste any resources like having your police put innocent people in custody. Spend your resources wisely might lead to breakthrough in the investigation, which would make you gain more resources.

Two ferocious robbers have joined forces make the city unsafe to travel by night. But during one of their robberies on a side street something goes wrong, and suddenly one of the robbers ends up stabbed on the sidewalk while the other robbers is nowhere to be seen. The only person the police may interrogate is the woman who claim to be the victim of the robbers. The robbers seem to have attacked each other - but is it really so easy? Where there others at the scene of the murder? And what is the meaning of the origami wolves head left on the dead robbers head? There are many riddles in this investigations, and nothing can be sure. But one thing is for sure, there will be more murders if the police doesn't act quickly.
