About
Point Blank X is a light gun arcade game for one or two players with multiple stages. It is a reboot of the Point Blank games with the same gameplay and levels from the first three games except in high resolution graphics and with a redesigned cabinet.
It is a shooting gallery where every stage has a different objective which is explained at the start of each stage. Stages vary from simple target shooting (and avoid to shoot bomb), shooting cardboard villains (avoid shooting cardboard civilians), shooting own color targets (avoid shooting opposing players color), protecting the iconic Dr. Don and Dr. Dan, and many miscellaneous challenges such as the Galaxian stage where the light gun is used in place of spaceships to shoot aliens, shooting the clock with the correct time, shooting the odd one animal out, trimming a hairdo, shooting soccer balls into the goal, etc.
The game has cartoony graphics and is non-violent, making it suitable for all ages. The stages are presented in groups of four and the player or players can choose in which order to play them. You lose a life-heart when you shoot an incorrect target or bomb, or when you fail to complete a mission within the time limit. The game can be played in easy and hard mode.
