PixelJunk Monsters Encore

PixelJunk Monsters Encore is DLC for the tower defense strategy game PixelJunk Monsters. It adds a new island called Toki Island next to the existing Tiki Island. The new location offers fifteen additional levels with a substantial higher difficulty. The design of some levels is inspired by arcade classics, such as the Paku Paku level (Pac-Man) and Monster Invaders (Space Invaders), incorporating the influence in the level layout.

The basic gameplay and content remains unchanged, there are for instance no new enemies or towers. Certain towers such as the ice tower are now unlocked from the start however and can be used right away. The game also has new types of trees and weather effects such as rain and snow. The Tikiman's unlocked powers are not transferred to the new island, so they need to be acquired again. Just like the original game all levels can be completed solo or working cooperatively with another player. By completing all levels Tum-Tum Island can be unlocked. This additional location generates a custom level based on a seed word determined by the player. This DLC contains five new music tracks.
