Pixel Piracy

Pixel Piracy is a 2D open world pirate game, where the player takes the role of a pirate captain, conducting the usual manner of business a pirate is expected to do: pillaging, exploring the seas, and drinking a lot of grog, among others.

Each game starts with a randomly created world and during character/world creation, the player may opt to choose a pirate with one disclosed perk and his appearance. In each new game, the pirate captain must hire a crew and build a ship to prepare the exploration of new islands and its inhabitants. Each pirate has a profession and two perks, which may be negative or positive (e.g. greedy, fast recovery, etc.) as well as morale. It is the role of the captain to satisfy the needs of crew (e.g. food, wages), as if morale gets too low, a mutiny might occur.

A permadeath is in affect if the captain is killed.
