Peripeteia

Peripeteia is a first/third-person shooter with RPG and stealth mechanics set in a post-war, cyberpunk-inspired Poland. The player takes on the role of Marie, a cybernetic supersoldier who awakens in a scrapyard owned by a junker named Filemon with no memory of how she got there. With the only thing she can remember being a mysterious bunker, Marie begins her search by working for Filemon, who tasks her with collecting a light bulb from a decommissioned planetarium.

Levels are large and sprawling, featuring various routes and methods that the player can use to complete their objectives. This includes hacking doors open, sneaking into hostile areas, or negotiating with NPCs to gain safe passage. Many items can be found throughout the world, such as weapons, health, and lore trinkets, as well as cybernetic implants which imbue Marie with permanent toggleable abilities, such as enhanced strength, speed, awareness, and environmental protection.

Between levels, the player can explore Marie's apartment, talking with her cactus, interacting with her neighbors, and testing out weapons on the firing range in the basement.
