About
Pacific Fighters is a World War II flight sim in Oleg Maddox' IL-2 Sturmovik series of games.
The game puts the player in the pilot seat of both fighters and bombers. Starting from the Eastern front and fighting through to the fierce combat of the Pacific theater, he gets to fly British, US and Australian aircraft against the Japanese Empire. Taking part in some of the most famous historical events, including Pearl Harbor, Guadalcanal, and Iwo Jima, the player is faced with all aspects of flying including takeoff from and landing on aircraft carriers.
The game can either be installed standalone, or integrated with a previous combined installation of Forgotten Battles + Ace Expansion Pack.
