Overheat

Overheat is a first-person exploration and puzzle game set in the pitch-black corridors of a space station. Players take on the role of an emergency engineer dispatched to the station after a catastrophic power failure leaves it in total darkness. Survival depends on two specialized devices: a thermal cutter and a heat-vision scanner.

The gameplay revolves around navigating unlit environments using thermal vision to identify interactive objects, sources of heat, and possible dangers. The thermal cutter—a non-lethal beam that melts through locks and sealed doors—requires battery power to operate. Players must search for batteries and unlock new sections of the station.
