Ostrov Sokrovishch

Ostrov sokrovishch ("Treasure Island") is an arcade game based on the popular 1988 Soviet full-feature animated film, which is in turn present itself a humorous adaptation of the novel with the same name by Robert Louis Stevenson. The game graphics follow that of the cartoon, and even some of the original voice actors have resumed their roles in the game.

Playing as Jim Hawkins (and later as Captain Smollett as well), we are to fight the pirates who have captured our ship with all the treasure and took all our friends as captives into the fort on the island. There are ten enemy types, each one with some special abilities. Jim can hit them with different attack types, including shooting from his pipe. There are three levels, the first and the last taking part on the 'Hispaniola', while the second and the largest one is on the island itself, where there are many other enemies and obstacles besides pirates, like stinging bees or hungry alligators.
