About
Opération Teddy Bear is presented as an animated comic book where the scenes appear one by one. As you read along, new pictures appear and you can move the mouse over the objects to find out more about them. Using a technology called Quickmove, you can define the way new pictures appear: chronological, unseen only, everything at once or your own rule sets... With more than 3000 historical texts, photos and illustrated maps, this game is a pretext to teach children about the background events in Europe from the moment when Hitler came to power to the fall of the Third Reich.
The story takes place during the allied invasion of Normandy in 1944. Twelve-year-old Paul travels through the regions at war to visit his mother in Paris, but he does not know that his uncle, a member of the resistance, has concealed secret documents in his plush teddy bear. Hunted by the German Secret Service, he will need all the help he can get.
