Officers

Officers is a real-time strategy game in which the player fights across Western Europe as an allied commander, from the machine gun swept beaches of Normandy to the final battles in Germany.

A feature that distinguishes the game from other real-time strategy games, is the large size of the battle field, with a potential for over 1,500 units to be on the battle field at any given moment and maps up to ten square miles in size.

An improved version of Officers, which includes improved unit pathfinding, map tweaks, an expanded manual, and other changes to improve game stability was released by Matrix Games, as Officers: The Matrix Edition.
