Northern Tale

The evil witch, Gesta, has cast spells on the three princesses, Summer, Autumn and Winter. She has also turned parts of the land dead and grey. You, King Ragnar, must restore the land and save your daughters.

Northern Tale is a time management game. You use your mouse or touch screen to guide a Viking to various tasks, like gathering items, repairing roads, clearing wooden blockages, repairing buildings or defeating enemies. Upgrading your camp allows you to have more than one Viking to control and this saves time. Plan your tasks well as things like repairing and defeating of enemies requires gold, ore and/or food. If you lack the needed resources to complete a task, you will have to wait until a magic stump or workshop/farm creates more. The game is timed but there is an option to play without a time limit. If you feel you are stuck and won't be able to complete the level in time, you can restart and try again. If time runs out, the witch flies over and destroys all, then you can quit or retry.
