No Place Like Home

No Place Like Home is a family-friendly third-person game of farming on and cleaning-up a post apocalyptic Earth. Just before the player shoots off to Mars with the rest of the human race, they visit their grandfather, stubbornly still living on the evacuated, polluted planet Earth. Arriving at his farm, the player finds he isn't there. Thus their quest begins.

The player meets the local residents and fulfills their favours to progress. This will involve tending the land and livestock of the home, while pushing back the tides of trash of the region with a combined vacuum and drill. As the player uncovers the land beneath the trash, they can make new animal friends who can provide your with much needed resources. Resources that are needed for building new facilities and upgrades.

Unique to the Farming genre is the cleaning-up aspect. Each region is full of piles of trash blocking the way. Some will only be removed once upgraded, providing a reason to re-explore early regions.
