Nixy and the Seeds of Doom

Nixy and the Seeds of Doom is the sequel to Nixy the Glade Sprite and continues the story of her trying to discover the source of the corruption to her forest. This time, you must find a key to gain entry to a castle and locate the glade spirit, before tracking down and destroying the Doom Weed.

The gameplay mechanics are identical to the previous game, in that it's a flip-screen adventure with simple fetch quest puzzles. You have to avoid contact with fixed-path enemies such as ghosts and knights, as well as environmental obstacles such as disappearing platforms above water and floor spikes. You have no attack or defence moves and must simply time jumps or run to avoid making contact. Unlike the first game, you now have one life and an energy bar. The game ends once you have collected all the items to destroy the Doom Weed in a shootout or your energy has been depleted.
