About
In NightStone you get the chance to play a Barbarian, Sorceress and Amazon, joining forces to wade your way through a land plagued by evil to destroy the NightStone.
A basic isometric role-playing game, each of your characters has a limited series of statistics and an overall 'level' that, obviously, increases as you play. Limited inventory slots exist for each character and, with only one location to sell and buy items present in the game, you will have to juggle your inventory carefully.
The land you explore is split up into over 30 'sections', each of which is the basis for a single mission. Missions can be 'destroy all of monster type X', or 'find such-and-such an item' or even just make it through alive. Each of your champions start the game at different points of the landscape, so your first few missions will be spent just getting them together to join forces. Saves are not possible during a single mission - only once you have completed and returned to main land overview map.
Multiplayer options are also available, and the game comes with a simple-to-use adventure and mission editor that will allow you to create your own quests for up to 8 friends to play.
