Nancy Drew: Secret of the Scarlet Hand

In this point and click adventure game you play the famous teen detective, Nancy Drew, as she takes on an interesting summer internship as Deputy Curator of a Washington D.C. museum, Beech Hill. The museum specializes in the ancient Mayan culture, and part of Nancy’s job is working with Mayan artifacts and preparing them to go on exhibit.

Shortly after beginning her new position, Nancy learns that the museum has had a series of mysterious thefts. Only one clue has been left behind to connect the otherwise seemingly unrelated incidents – a bright red handprint. As she learns more about the Mayan civilization and its culture, she realizes that there is much more to the thefts than the authorities realize.

Part of Nancy’s investigation involves travel outside the confines of the Beech Hill Museum building to other parts of the Capitol City. She will take a subway, visit a hospital and meet characters in the Mexican consulate in Washington, D.C.

Secret of the Sacred Hand is based on a book by the same name, #124 in the paperback series.
