Mystic Ark: Maboroshi Gekijo

Mystic Ark: Maboroshi Gekijo is an adventure game where you choose from one of two protagonists, Alice and Remeer, who suddenly find that all the people of the town have disappeared. They are then greeted by a mysterious scarecrow named Mr. Silverfingertips who entrusts the player to find the 7 Arks spread across several storybook inspired worlds. There, they must solve challenges and best monsters to collect the Arks and return the people to the town.

Each protagonist sports their own unique abilities and playstyles. Remeer excels in combat and often solves challenges more directly while Alice, who is more friendly, can sway characters to help her. There is also a third playable protagonist that you can unlock in the game.
