About

Mystery Solitaire: Grimm's Tales is a card based series of puzzles.

There are twenty levels in all and each level consists of ten puzzles. Unlike a traditional solitaire game, the objective here is not to clear all cards from the screen, instead the player has to unlock and play all the special cards that are buried within the rest of the pack. Special cards have a different colored back, and when all these cards have been released, the puzzle is complete regardless of any normal cards that remain on the screen.

The game has two modes of play. Newbie is the game mode the player must use to start with. In this mode, the player can progress from one puzzle to another even if they fail to release all the special cards. Newbies can also replay levels where they failed to achieve a perfect score. Once all the puzzles in all the levels have been completed, the Professional mode is unlocked. In this mode, the game is played just as before, however if the player fails to complete any of the ten puzzles in a level, they must replay the entire level from the beginning.

The game can be played in full screen or windowed modes, it autosaves on exit and has multiple choices for card fronts and card backs.
