Murderlings

Murderlings is a short survival game in which players control a murder of crows and hunt as many humans as they can before starving to death. The game is a finished version of a game jam prototype originally made for IndieCade's Community Jam 2015 where it was previously titled Murdering.

The player uses the mouse to fly the murder around and clicks to crow when they spot prey (humans). Crowing alerts the prey, which will make them start running. Players must keep up and continue crowing until wolves arrive to kill them. After the wolves feed, the murder can feed on the remains. If the murder does not feed for a certain amount of time, the murder's crows will start dying of starvation one by one. As the game progresses, the humans start employing tactics such as blending into tall grass, doubling back when running, or even shooting at the murder with guns. The game ends when all crows in the murder die.

The game has achievements and an online leaderboard that tracks which players have survived for the longest amount of time.
