Mottomo Abunai Deka

Mottomo Abunai Deka adapts the movie with the same name (itself a theatrical finale to a buddy cop TV show) into a side-scrolling run and gun game and loosely follows the movie’s plot in abridged form. The game lets you choose to play as either Yūji or Taka (which have no gameplay difference, only their jackets have different colors) or both in a local co-op mode. Your starting pistol has unlimited ammunition, but your other 2 weapons (machine gun and grenade) require ammo pickups to use.

One-third of the way through the story campaign, the gameplay switches it up and a first-person rail shooter stage is introduced, at first a tutorial at a shooting range, but later returns with enemies that can return fire.

Near the end, you must go through a top-down driving minigame.
