About

Moon Landing is a variant of Lunar Lander where you control a rocket that has to land safely at one of five locations on the surface of the moon. The rocket moves under the effect of gravity but may rotate about its axis and activate its thrusters to change its velocity. Using the thrusters consumes fuel, of which you have a limited amount.

A safe landing is achieved if your rocket arrives at the surface within the required area with sufficiently small vertical and horizontal speeds. Hard landings outside of these parameters will result in the loss of a craft, and losing three rockets will end the game.

The landing positions on each screen have different scores, depending on their difficulty. Successful landings at all five locations clears the screen, and then you start again. There are five skill levels available, with the harder levels having increased gravity and a smaller margin on the speed allowed during landing.
