Monster Hunter 4

Monster Hunter 4 is a hunting action game.

In the game, players slay monsters, get ingredients from their bodies, and use the ingredients to craft and upgrade weapons and armors for slaying more powerful monsters. In comparison with previous games in Monster Hunter series, the most significant new element is difference in height, which allows player to climb up and jump down in 3-Dimensional maps. It also introduces 2 kinds of new weapons, i.e. the Insect Glaive and the Charge Blade.

It is the base of Monster Hunter 4: Ultimate.
