About
Action hero Barry Steakfries is at it again, running through varied exotic environments -- the Himalayas, the Great Wall of China, the Carpathian Alps, post-apocalyptic cityscapes and Cairo rooftops -- running, running, and running endlessly. He really can't stop running. Where is he going? Why is he in such a hurry? These questions we have no answers to, but there are plenty of thematically-appropriate monsters who manage to interpose themselves in his path: mummies in Egypt, Yetis in the Himalayas, etc. The only things Barry can do besides run (which he does automatically) is jump -- which he needs to do at regular intervals, to leap over health-damaging traps and to broach gaps in his path onwards -- and shoot his opponents, who, if left un-shot, also deduct from his limited health supplies.
Periodically he may encounter chests containing exciting power-ups such as a motorcycle (with which to indiscriminately run over his monstrous enemies) or the machine-gun jet-pack he uses in Jetpack Joyride. After successfully traversing one environment for a while, he is overcome by a flash of light and transported randomly to another level, where the gameplay continues much the same, re-skinned.
