Monaco

Monaco is a 1-player top-down racing game.

The player moves laterally on a vertically scrolling racetrack to avoid other racers and fast moving ambulances, accelerating to try to overcome these vehicles. Water hazards on the track cause the player to swerve left and right. If the player contacts another vehicle, their car is stopped and placed on the left side of the track. Intermittently the track narrows increasing the challenge.

The further the racer travels the more points they receive. At the beginning of the race, the goal is 2,000 points within 1 minute to qualify for the main race. After this, the player has three cars to try to reach 9,999 points.
