Minubeat

Minubeat is a cross between a shoot-em-up and a rhythm game. The player controls a spaceship, armed with a rapid-fire weapon fired with the Z key, that faces both small enemy ships and large objects that release lots of projectiles. Contact with an enemy or their projectile kills instantly.

The player's ship also has two powerful tools: bombs, which are planted with the X key on a nearby enemy and explode after a moment, destroying it instantly; and the C key, which instantly destroys all enemy projectiles on screen. However, both these tools can only be used if the keys for them are pressed in time with the beat of the background tune. The squares in the background pulsate slightly to help in getting the timing right.

There is a time limit of sixty seconds to get to the final boss and kill it.
