Minefield

Minefield is a 1-player puzzle game for the BBC Micro.

The player tries to move from the bottom left corner to the top right of a large 20 x 14 grid. As the player moves in the cardinal directions, the number of mines in adjacent or diagonal squares is displayed. The player uses this information to safely navigate the field. If the player hits a mine it's game over. There are eight levels of difficulty, and the player chooses visible or invisible mines.
