Meteors

Meteors is a 1-player variant of Asteroids for the BBC Micro and Electron.

The player controls a vessel that can rotate 360 degrees clockwise or counterclockwise, accelerate, fire straight forwards, and randomly hyperspace jump to a random spot on the screen. The player tries to destroy all meteors on the screen, which when hit break into 2 smaller pieces, and then 2 smaller pieces once again. Enemy saucers fly across the screen firing towards the player, and can be destroyed for bonus points. There is a high score feature, and the player starts with 3 lives.
