About
Mekorama is a puzzle game with elements from Monument Valley as it consists of several small diorama-like levels where a character needs to be guided to a location marked with a red circle to complete the puzzle. However, here optical illusions are not employed. Instead, the player needs to find the correct way by rotating the environment by holding and swiping, to find out where certain passages lead or why they are blocked. Many puzzle elements are introduced gradually, such as platforms that can be moved, an AI-character whose path needs to be blocked to guide it in a certain direction and so on.
The game consists of 50 levels unlocked gradually. It includes an editor to design custom levels, which are then shared through QR codes. The game is free and does not contain advertisements. The author uses the pay-what-you-want concept for the game. When stuck, hints are provided for the levels, but only if you made a payment.
