About

Loosely a remake of Math Blaster: Episode One - In Search of Spot, Spot gets kidnapped by the slimy Gelator, who has spread his ooze over the planet Moldar. Blasternaut and Galactic Commander are on a mission to liberate Spot and Moldar.

The game can be played in one of three difficulty levels. Also the math settings can be configured tot the math material the player prefers at one of six levels, including arithmetics, estimation, patterns, fractions, and percentages. The game is divided into five parts:

  • The player gets a correct answer to recharge the ship’s cannons, then blasts asteroids and space junk.
  • From a selection of slime drones, the player has to blast the one with the correct number to a sum. Following this, there is a platforming level where the player will need to slip some foot trolls with limited banana peels to proceed to the exit.
  • A series of platforming levels has the player adjusting a number in a thought bubble with slime droplets so that it fits between the numbers on a platform, as well as slipping foot trolls.
  • The player operates a machine to place two products, one operation, and an answer, which all fit together to make a correct sum.
  • Similar to the first part, but the player shoots the correct number (and operation) to answer a sum, until the power is at full capacity.

For accomplishing the mission, the player gets a printable certificate. Depending on the player’s rank, one out of three endings show the fate of the Gelator.
